The FINANCIAL — Kyiv Mayoral candidate Vitaliy Klitschko states that the democratic forces will agree a single candidate for the Kyiv Mayor post within a week term.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, V. Klitschko said this to journalists today, commenting on proposing candidates for the Kyiv Mayor post by different parties and blocs of the democratic camp.
“I am absolutely sure that we will agree this in the nearest days, we will determine the candidate who will be able to withstand competition with the incumbent Mayor. As for today, we have two candidates. And it is a struggle between the two candidates. All of the candidates have ambitions within 1.5%, and, as of today, they do not present any alternative to the current power”, V.Klitschko noted.
According to his words, the negotiations on the single democratic candidate are at the final stage now. “In the nearest week, we will be able to sum up all the negotiations… And after that we will be able to bring out the main points, on the basis of which the single candidate may be proposed”, said V. Klitschko.
