The FINANCIAL — Novozymes, the Copenhagen-based industrial enzymes company, will receive a European Investment Bank (EIB) financing facility for its research, development and innovation activities under an agreement signed on December 13.
The financing facility is aimed at projects in enzymes, novel proteins and micro-organisms at Novozymes, one of the world’s largest producers of industrial enzymes. With activities that are solidly in line with the European Union’s objectives of strengthening the knowledge economy, the company improves industrial processes with technology that replace conventional chemicals, improve resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
