The FINANCIAL — Denver International Airport (DEN) and Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock on May 17 recognized JetBlue Airways’ 15th anniversary in Denver.
JetBlue began operating at DEN in 2001 with service to New York and added service to Boston in 2004. Since beginning service at DEN, JetBlue has transported more than 3.4 million passengers to and from Denver, and has provided more than 28,000 nonstop flights – including more nonstop flights between Denver and New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport than any other carrier, according to Denver International Airport.
“Denver International Airport is proud to have such a longstanding relationship with JetBlue Airways, which continues to be a popular choice among passengers headed to the East Coast and beyond,” airport CEO Kim Day said. “JetBlue shares the airport’s priorities of delivering a high level of customer service, which is reflected by 12 consecutive years of the airline topping the J.D. Power North American Satisfaction Study. We look forward to our continued partnership with JetBlue for years to come.”
