The FINANCIAL — Deputy Ministers of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia – Giorgi Cherkezishvili and Genadi Arveladze visited the families of the miners killed in the Tkibuli Mindeli Mine and express their condolences in person.
The Deputy Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs Tamila Barkalaia, the Adviser to the Prime Minister on regional issues Sozar Subari, the Head of the Technical and Construction Supervision Agency, Giorgi Kakauridze and the Head of the National Agency of Mines, Maia Zavrashvili accompanied the Deputy Ministerd of Economy and Sustainable Development.
As Giorgi Cherkezishvili stated, the tragedy and the loss of the families is shared by each Georgian citizen and the Government will do its best to prevent such tragedies. As he stated, the Government will do everything to ensure the high standards of labor safety, for which the active work has already been launched. In addition, the detailed examination and inspection of the accident will be carried out by the relevant agencies.
4 miners were killed in the Mindeli Mine in Tkibuli today while 6 miners were injured. Deputy Ministers of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia – Giorgi Cherkezishvili and Genadi Arveladze were in Tkibuli all day long and personally got acquainted with the situation.
