The FINANCIAL — Mountain Resorts Development Company of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia officially opened the Didveli ski zone in Bakuriani.
During the winter season, visitors will enjoy the 2000-meter skiing route, Nodo after Nodar Kumaritashvili. If necessary, 34 artificial snow machines will reproduce the effect of snow-crusted tracks for the whole winter season in Didveli, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
There are four chairlifts at the Didveli ski zone: gondola, seated (bubble), stirrup and funicular. Seven 14-km ski slopes will meet all types of skiing requirements in Bakuriani.
The Didvli Chairlift will operate every day at 10:00-17:00. Night skiers will enjoy high-tech colored Led Lights on the tracks.
Mountain Patrol will ensure safety of the ski tracks in the winter resort.
