The FINANCIAL — First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili attended the opening of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which is held annually in a different country.
This year the Global Entrepreneurship Week is held with the support of the USA Embassy, the USAID project G4G, the LEPL Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Entrepreneurs Association.
Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili opened the Global Entrepreneurship Week. The USA Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly as well as the representatives of the Georgian startups, different private companies and public sector attended the event as well, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Invited guests had an opportunity to get familiar with the success stories of the startup companies, the stages of their development, difficulties they met and the ways of the facilitation.
Winner groups of the investment program Startup Georgia were among the guests of the event and made the presentations of their projects there. Representatives of the different Government agencies introduced the on-going and planned programs facilitating the entrepreneurship.
