The FINANCIAL — Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili commented on the launching of the construction of the Technological Institute and emphasized on the importance of the correct planning when dealing with the construction of such an important and significant educational facility.
“It is impossible to operate a perfect technological institute without having appropriate facilities”- Dimitry Kumsishvili stated. According to the Minister, one of the main directions of the center will be so cold Hadron Therapy – an innovative treatment for cancer where radiation only targets damaged cells while healthy tissues remain intact. In the future, this facility will allow the mathematicians, physicists, chemists, biologists, Georgian scientists and the new generations to conduct the most advance researches.
Vice Prime Minister Dimitry Kumsishvili expressed gratefulness to the international fund Kartu for supporting the construction of such a strategic project for Georgia as the Technology Institute is, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
