The FINANCIAL — First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili, within the frameworks of the Tbilisi Belt & Road Forum, held a meeting with the Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, Ramin Guluzade.
Azerbaijan Minister gave a very high evaluation of the Tbilisi Belt & Road Forum and congratulated Georgia on successful organization of the Forum.
On his turn, the First Vice Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the Azerbaijan participation in the Tbilisi Belt & Road Forum, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Issues related to the cooperation of the two countries in the transport sector were discussed at the meeting and it was noted that the relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan are exceptional in every strategic direction.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project was paid a special attention during the meeting and its importance in terms of bilateral as well as in regional development was particularly highlighted.
