The FINANCIAL — “Development of the fiber-optic transmission line between Europe and Asia over the territories of Georgia and Turkey is one of the priorities in terms of cooperation between our countries,” – the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili stated following the meeting with the Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication, Ahmet Arslan, where he declared this initiative.
According to Dimitry Kumsishvili, this would be the shortest road to connect the countries of Europe and Asia to China, which will bring great economic and social benefits not only to our states but also all the countries involved.
