The FINANCIAL — On September 21, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dimitry Kumsishvili held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Georgia, Antonio Enrico Bartoli.
Head of the state Ltd Mountain Resorts Development Company under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Aleqsandre Onofrishvili also attended the meeting, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Georgian-Italian trade and economic relations were discussed at the meeting. Special attention was paid to cooperation in order to attract Italian investments into the different fields of Georgia’s economy.
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Dimitry Kumsishvili introduced Georgia’s investment capabilities, particularly in the fields of tourism, agriculture, production, logistics and information technologies, to the Ambassador. Cooperation of the two states in the field of ski resort development in Georgia was especially stressed during the conversation.
Possibilities of holding the Business Forum in Georgia as well as in Italy in order to allow the representatives of the business sectors of the states to get acknowledged with potential business-partners was also discussed at the meeting.
