The FINANCIAL — On October 1, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dimitry Kumsishvili held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Georgia, Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Georgia-Turkey trade and economic relations and the prospects of the further enhancing of cooperation were discussed during the meeting. As it was noted, Turkey is Georgia’s major trade partner but there still are lots of opportunities to use in this field including the expansion of export.
Georgian Minister expressed the interest in deepening cooperation with Turkey in the field of investments. Further strengthening of collaboration in the field of tourism, transportation and communication systems were also discussed at the meeting.
