The FINANCIAL — Ukrainian and international stakeholders, officials and experts gathered in the country’s capital of Kyiv to discuss what is needed to support the development of the country’s system for protecting critical infrastructure and chemical security.
The round table discussion focused on the eastern part of Ukraine in particular.
The event, organised by the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), also aimed to review the progress of an integrated programme on chemical safety and security, and to discuss possibilities for adding an emergency-response project at the request of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The team of the EU-funded Programme on Prevention, Preparedness and Response to Natural and Man-made Disasters in the Eastern Partnership Countries (PPRD East 2) took part in the discussion.
