Vake Swimming Pool, an Olympic-standard facility located in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, is excited to welcome the summer season with a range of new features. These include additional group exercises and extended hours for aqua aerobics and Pilates classes.
“We will also be offering a series of special massages and spa treatments designed to help you unwind after a long day. In the children’s sports sector, we have some exciting updates as well. The children’s boxing program will be led by certified instructors, along with many other new activities for our young participants,” Lazare Kobulia, the General Director of Vake Swimming Pool, said in an interview with Golden Brand.

The pool has been continuously renovated, with additional services and activities added over time. It is now equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and has achieved the status of an Olympic-standard sports complex.

Unlike other pools in Georgia, the water at Vake Swimming Pool is purified using ultraviolet rays and quartz sand, adhering to the Euro 7 standard, with minimal chlorine usage.
Once a year, the pool is completely emptied, cleaned thoroughly, and refilled with 3,600 tons of water, despite daily hygiene efforts.

We also provide massage services, a spa, an open terrace, and a cafe that offers a menu filled with balanced, healthy dishes.
It is worth noting that we are the only pool in Georgia where you can learn to dive with a professional instructor and earn an international certification. Vake Swimming Pool also serves as the training ground for the Georgian national diving team, being the only indoor facility where divers receive professional training year-round.
Q. On average, how many people visit Vake Swimming Pool annually?
A. Every year thousands of people visit Vake Swimming Pool, which continues to experience a growing trend in attendance. The number of visitors has significantly increased since we introduced fitness areas equipped with modern equipment and expanded sports activities for children. Currently Vake Swimming Pool has approximately 2,100 permanent club members, and about 600 people visit the complex daily, including many foreigners.
