The FINANCIAL — Dow Jones on November 19 announced Factiva, its news aggregation platform for business-critical information, has doubled its regional content sources in New Zealand, providing customers with broader access to an extensive collection of regional and community newspapers.
Factiva will now deliver greater access to premium online content from more than 50 additional major newspapers and local publications in New Zealand across 11 regions, including Hauraki Herald, Queenstown Mirror and Wairarapa News. Factiva’s expanded content will encompass all major daily national and metropolitan titles in full text with archives, offering the most comprehensive content collection of any local database service offering, according to Dow Jones.
“We’re delighted to expand our Factiva offering, which will help deliver valuable access to local news and information to our clients in New Zealand and beyond,” said Tomasz Rustowski, Head of Dow Jones’ Professional Information Business for APAC. “In adding more than fifty new sources with content which can’t be found on the free web, Factiva will provide a new level of coverage to inform our clients, helping them attain valuable local insights to support their business activities.”
