The FINANCIAL — Almost 300,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport this October Bank Holiday Weekend, from Friday 23 to Monday 26 October, 2015.
Passenger numbers are up 10% over the same weekend last year, according to Dublin Airport.
“More than 2,100 flights are due to arrive and depart at Dublin Airport this weekend,” according to Dublin Airport Spokesperson Siobhán O’Donnell. “We’re expecting an average of 75,000 passengers each day over the course of the October Bank Holiday weekend.”
This weekend also sees the official end of the summer schedule and start of the winter schedule at Dublin Airport.
So far this year, Dublin Airport has welcomed an extra 2.5 million customers; passenger numbers are up 15% to over 19.2 million passengers for the first nine months of 2015.
