The FINANCIAL — The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) has provisionally decided to provide funding for 16 projects submitted in response to its recent call for proposals to sub-grant projects with an Eastern Partnership regional dimension, aiming to support the work of the five thematic Working Groups of the EaP CSF.

The grants are conditional on the implementation of specific recommendations communicated to the applicants. Most of the selected projects cover more than three EaP countries. The grant agreements are expected to be signed in the coming weeks, according to EU Neighbourhood Info.

The majority of the proposals were submitted under the priorities of Working Group 1 “Democracy, Human Rights, Good Governance & Stability” and Working Group 4 “Contacts between People”.

The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) was established in 2009 following the Prague Summit which launched the Eastern Partnership. The EaP CSF aims to support the development of civil society organisations and facilitate their dialogue with public authorities.
