The FINANCIAL — MEPs and parliamentarians from the EU’s Eastern Partners (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) have come together in Yerevan for the 4th Ordinary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly on 16-18 March, chaired by Euronest co-presidents Heidi Hauttala (European Parliament) and Boris Tarasyuk (Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine).
The three-day meeting will be devoted, among other issues, to implementation of the association agreements signed recently between the EU and some of its Eastern neighbours, common security threats, energy policy, Russian military aggression in Ukraine and relations with Belarus, according to EU Neighbourhood Info Centre.
