The FINANCIAL — Elitel, the network shop founded by Elit Electronics, is opening its fourth shop in Tbilisi, near the Varketili subway station on 10 March. The new shop will be the 9th in Georgia.
“Since March 3, our customers have been able to visit the new Elitel shop on Vazha-Pshavela Ave and in the near future another store will be appearing in the trading centre Goodwill. By the end of 2008 Elitel plans to have opened about 20 stores all over Georgia,” says Ia Gogoladze, PR manager of Elit Electronics.
“Our first three shops were all opened at the same time in Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi in 2007. This project was foreseen primarily because of the great demand of customers and the market’s readiness to accept a chain store of famous brands. Also we have always been committed to offering our customers new models at low prices,” she added.
According to Gogoladze, Elitel is the first network shop in Georgia, where as well as cell phones digital apparatus introduced include: photo cameras, video cameras, mp3 players, computers, laptops, printers, photo printers and scanners.
“There are around 400 various products in our network at a range of low prices,” says Gogoladze.
The prices in Elitel are as follows: Computer keyboard, monitors cost GEL 395; Computer hardware (processor) – GEL 650; Laptops from GEL 1,155; and ipods from GEL 200.
In Gogoladze’s words, Elitel is concentrated on new technologies and the company has the official right of distribution of such famous brands as Acer, HP, Motorola, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Apple, HTC, Sony, Mergius, A4Tech and Defender.
“The main market demand is basically for phones like Samsung, Motorola and Sony Ericson. Customers generally prefer the modern models of these brands,” says PR Manager of Elit Electronics.
“As for computer equipment, the most demanded product in our store is the Samsung laptop, as the price is very fair, relative to the high degree of this model,” she added.
“The best prices, broad and permanently updated range, guarantee and after guarantee service, delivery of goods to the house, instalment sale, high level of service and personal approach to each customer conditions the place and today’s image of the company on the consumer market,” declared Gogoladze.
