The FINANCIAL — Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) on July 27 announced the appointment of Emil Visloguzov as Country Senior Officer for Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro and General Manager of Alcatel-Lucent Pupin Serbia, a joint venture between Alcatel-Lucent and Pupin Telecom.
In his new role Emil Visloguzov will assume overall responsibility for managing day-to-day operations, as well as taking the lead on strategic business directions for Alcatel-Lucent in the countries he leads. This announcement is effective immediately.
Emil is replacing Arnaud Le Ruen who will pursue a new role in the company.

Prior to this position, Emil was Country Senior Officer and General Manager of Alcatel-Lucent business in Bulgaria and Global Account Manager for the Railway sector in South-East Europe. Emil has a successful career with Alcatel-Lucent, holding various key managerial positions. He joined Alcatel-Lucent in 1996 and has extensive industry experience and expertise which he will bring in support of our customers and partners in the countries he leads. Emil holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from The Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Romania and an EMBA from the Romanian-American Institute for Business and Public Administration ASEBUSS at the University of Washington, Seattle USA in partnership with the Ministry of Education in Romania.
