The FINANCIAL — DUBAI, U.A.E., 21st August 2011: Emirates’ sponsored athlete Jane Westley, finished first in her age group and second overall at the 2011 Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series in London this month.
Following an 800 meter swim, a 22 kilometre bike ride and a five kilometre run through London, Jane finished the gruelling triathlon course with an astonishing time of 1 hour 18 minutes and four seconds.

“We were behind Jane for her win in London and will support her again as she goes on to compete, and no doubt win, in Beijing.”
After a successful race in London Jane will be focusing on the World Title at the ITU World Championships in Beijing this September.
"Being able to race at world championship level is a dream come true for me and I am feeling strong after my win in London. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive family and friends, great training partners and an amazing coach. Being able to travel to my races thanks to Emirates has also been an important factor in me being able to accomplish my goals,” said Jane Westley.
