The FINANCIAL — Entrée – one of the most popular bakery chains in Georgia, is now offering an updated pastry menu to customers.
Entrée last week invited a famous French confectioner in to hold trainings for its bakery staff which means that from now on people will be able to choose from an updated selection of cakes including seventeen new different types. The new selection of pastry assortment will be available in about two weeks at all Entree shops.
“We have presented our new assortment of cakes. They are of a very high culinary level and this is therefore something prestigious. We invited pastry chef Johan Martin, the renowned world champion confectioner, to help us achieve this. He has trained many groups all over the world. He is currently travelling as a consultant across the globe from East to West, from Asia to America or the United Arab Emirates. He is a true professional and has huge skill as a pastry chef,” said Jean Michel Charles, co-founder of Entrée.
“We are very proud to have hosted such an experienced and qualified pastry chef, as it’s very difficult to get time with him due to his busy schedule. He holds trainings in different places. He stayed in Georgia for five days and trained our staff during this time. Our team is very satisfied with the results and received a great deal of knowledge from the skilled chef,” said Mr. Charles.
“I was invited here to update the chain’s assortment of cakes and add something new to the menu. We produced about seventeen new types of cakes as a result of the training sessions. Working in Georgia and holding trainings for the staff of Entrée has been a huge pleasure for me. They easily picked up what I was teaching them, and will now be able to offer a variety of new cakes to customers. I might actually return in two to three months. My favourite cake that we created is one with coconut and milk chocolate and is one that I think many people will enjoy. I was happy to be working in such a great environment where everyone was eager to learn something new and therefore paid close attention to my demonstrations. All in all the trainings were a great success,” said Johan Martin.
“I can safely say that the new cakes have been very popular with all those who try them. I can see that people are very pleased with the new pastry items. I think that our updated range of cakes will attract even more customers and help Entrée to become even more popular,” Martin said.
According to Lika Mikautadze, Head of Marketing Communications at Entrée, the bakery chain represents a little island of European culture in Georgia. The company is always trying to come up with something new and delicious to offer its customers.
“We have a whole host of loyal clients who visit us on a regular basis. It is therefore our duty to be always producing something new to offer them. This time we invited one of the most popular confectioners in Europe to Entrée, as a result of whose teaching customers will now be able to enjoy new confectionary on the menu. The designs of the new cakes are very nice too, but most importantly they are truly delicious. We hope that this effort will not only maintain, but boost customer satisfaction levels,” Mikautadze said.
“Most of our staff are Georgian but once every three months we invite a French chef to come and train them to make sure we are keeping up our quality, improving on the existing menu items and offering new items in the confectionary as well as bread and pastry sections,” Mikautadze said.
“Bread, coffee and pastry in the morning, delicious healthy food at lunch, and confectionary in the evening – these are the three most popular ranges with Entrée customers. Entrée is not only a bakery, but also a premium segment Lunch and a buffet distributor. We distribute our products to several hotels, as well as international operators. We are not only oriented on the retail segment, but have corporate sales as well. The takeaway service is also very convenient and popular at Entrée,” Mikautadze said.
Entrée is European style bakery chain which was born in Tbilisi in December 2008. The coffee shops of Entrée are an original concept with a solid image of a smoke and alcohol-free establishment for the whole family to enjoy due to its high international standards.
Entrée also has its own takeout packaging for all products including hot drinks, soups and salads which allow you to taste all of Entrée’s delicious and healthy products anywhere: at home, on the move, in the office as well as at one of Entrée’s very own coffee shops. At the moment there are six Entrée branches in Tbilisi in total.
