The FINANCIAL — Ercom, a French company specializing in secure communications and wireless-networks optimization, will present its full Cryptosmart range of innovative products at the Infosecurity trade show, which will take place in central London (UK), from 29 April to 1 May 2014. Ercom is keen to meet UK-based potential partners, as part of its strategy for growth across Europe, according to EUbusiness.
“Our presence at the Infosecurity trade show in London is linked to our strategy for European development. The aim is to present the relevance of our solution to future clients present at the event. Ercom’s participation will also facilitate dialogue with local partners, with a view to targeting businesses and public-sector entities on the European market,” Yannick Dupuch, Ercom CEO said.
Ercom will showcase its innovative Cryptosmart range of products on the French Pavilion (Stand M75) during Infosecurity 2014, to be held from 29 April to 1 May of this year, at the Earls Court exhibition centre, in central London. The company is looking to develop partnerships in the UK and will be available for one-to-one business meetings on the stand, according to EUbusiness.
The Cryptosmart range of solutions responds to the principal security challenges in mobile communications. It enables users to secure their data (local encryption, SMS, voice telephony, email, etc.), both at home and abroad.
The solution supports the latest-generation smartphones and tablet devices, including mobile devices running with Android. As of mid-2014, Cryptosmart will also support Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Advanced and GalaxyTab 3. The range of solutions that Ercom offers is also adapted to securing Windows PCs, according to EUbusiness.
Smartphones, tablets and PCs that are used for professional purposes and whose security is breached by an outside source can pose very serious risks to the user. Businesses and public-sector bodies (including government agencies and government departments) must, therefore, call upon trusted solutions in order to successfully tackle issues of competitiveness and strategy, while ensuring that their industrial and other assets are protected.
The Cryptosmart technology is the result of a 10-year process combining ongoing investment in R&D and continuous improvement. The technology involves the use of smart cards, in which the Cryptosmart applet is installed. The solution developed by Ercom offers optimal protection for data that is stored or shared on mobile devices. To date, a number of European businesses and ministries have equipped themselves with Cryptosmart technology, according to EUbusiness.
In 2013, the growth of the company’s Cryptosmart division actively contributed to a marked increase in orders for the group as a whole: indeed, the company’s overall sales figures have risen by 17% since 2012.
