The FINANCIAL – The European Union (EU) has financed a new scientific project in Georgia that will render assistance in Georgia’s integration into the European space, Prime-News Business was told at the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
According to Prime-News Business, the new scientific project is aimed at creation of scientific administration efficient model. The goal of the project is to prepare recommendations for Georgian educational ministry and national scientific funds in order to work out scientific policy.
According to the project’s recommendations, role of the state is to grow in working out of scientific policy as well as in innovation scientific researches financing.
The project has been carried out by the Estonian scientific fund “Archimedes”.
"The project consists of 4 principal parts: state scientific policy reorganization; human resources development and scientist’s status strengthening; cooperation stimulation between industry, universities and scientific research institutes as well as public information on important role of science.
Georgia is the first country in the territory of the former USSR (except for the Baltic countries) where such project has been carried out." Prime-News Business reports.
