The FINANCIAL — More than 160 entrepreneurs from Ukraine and beyond participated in the East Export Forum last week, to learn how to take advantage of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA), which has opened up EU markets to Ukrainian exports.
EU representatives outlined the benefits of DCFTA and shared what they are doing to help exporters. Meanwhile, entrepreneurs presented some of the challenges facing the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including legal barriers facing exporters. Furthermore, an agricultural sector panel discussed issues surrounding organic product exports, food safety, and co-operation opportunities, according to EU Neighbours East Info.
Kramatorsk Business Support Centre (BSC) organised the event within the framework of the EU4Business initiative and with support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The Kramatorsk branch is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which works to improve the competitiveness of Ukrainian SMEs by providing business advice and practical support.
