The FINANCIAL — The eighth Business Incubator in Cimislia, Moldova, established under an EU Budget Support programme, was officially opened last week in a ceremony organised by the Moldovan Organisation for the Development of SMEs (ODIMM).
The official opening of the Cimislia Incubator was attended by over 75 people, including local, national and EU officials, and members of a technical assistance project, as well as local businessmen, including the new tenants of the incubator, according to EU Neighbourhood Info Centre.

Close to 200 SMEs and individual entrepreneurs are hosted by the 8 operational Business Incubators, in the process creating over 600 jobs, of which more than 200 women.

Total EU financial assistance provided through the Economic Stimulation in Rural Area Budget Support Programme during 2010-2014 was approximately €72 million, with one of the focal intervention areas being the creation of Rural Business Incubators.
