The FINANCIAL — The second phase of a Twinning Project on ‘Support to Strengthening of e-Governance in Georgia’ will focus on assisting the Data Exchange Agency of the Georgian Ministry of Justice and the Georgian government to support the development of and alignment of e-governance and information security legislation with European standards.
Estonian experts, who have acquired unique experience in building e-government in Estonia, are planning to consult and train the specialists of the Georgian Agency. “This is an opportunity to conduct the whole knowledge transfer,” said Resident Twinning Adviser Ivar Tallo.
Funding for the project is being provided by the EU to the tune of €1.3 million and it is implemented by the Estonian e-Governance Academy in cooperation of Estonian State Chancellery and Italian ICT Consortium CSI-Piemonte, according to EU Neighbourhood Info.
