The FINANCIAL — Delegation headed by Eurasian University Union (EURAS) president, founder of Istanbul Aydin University, Professor Mustafa Aydin visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and met with BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov.
BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov heartily welcomed guests and informed them about the education program, international relations of BHOS and achievements gained by higher school within three years. BHOS rector emphasized that the higher school is educating highly qualified English speaking specialists according to international standards. E. Gasimov also touched upon significance of applying international standards within education and internship process and stressed the role of BHOS students’ internship experience gained at various international companies. He underlined that it would be interesting to cooperate with universities, EURAS members, in frames of the Union, joining projects with diverse directions, according to SOCAR.
In his turn, EURAS president Mustafa Aydin thanked BHOS rector for invitation and in details spoke about his organization. He said EURAS was founded in 2008 in Istanbul and united more than 80 universities from Europe, Asia and Middle East. Professor also informed of projects realized by EURAS, exchange programs between member universities, joint scientific researches, publications, professors and students exchange, scholarship programs, summer internship and schools offered by EURAS.
Moreover, while taking into consideration enhancement of joint work of EURAS universities and realization of new projects, M. Aydin particularly stressed how interesting future cooperation with BHOS in these directions would be.
