The FINANCIAL — The path from EU conclusions on Vocational Education and Training (VET) to the individual small businesses and apprentices that make them a reality is long and complex. That’s why EUROCHAMBRES supports the strong references in today’s Riga conclusions to the key role of stakeholders, specifically Chambers, in delivering VET.
“We also support the call to promote work-based learning and reiterate our proposal to set an ambitious Europe 2020 target that 50% of VET programmes should, by 2020, be apprenticeships,” said Arnaldo Abruzzini, EUROCHAMBRES’ Secretary General.
EUROCHAMBRES is an active member of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships and is taking part in today’s relaunch in Riga in tandem with them ministerial meeting.
