The FINANCIAL — According to the decision of Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, families affected by the disaster have been temporarily homed in Tskneti governmental residences. Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited Tskneti governmental residences together with Davit Narmania.
“We have allocated Tskneti governmental residences for victims of disaster in Akhaldaba, including about twenty children and their parents. We are still recoding the number of victims and several families may also be added to this number. They will remain here in a comfortable environment until the results of the flood is not eliminated. Special brigades are working at the place and everything is being done to repair houses, roads and communications” – Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
As Vice Prime Minister mentioned, families affected by the disaster were given places by Vake – Saburtalo Municipalities to spend a night. Today they are already in Tskneti and have everything for normal living, according to Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
“Every condition will exist here to provide moral rehabilitation for children. Money, necessary items and medicine have been collected by the people working in the Ministry as well as by representatives of other offices. I am very glad for consolidation from Georgian people” – Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
According to Davit Narmania, the Ministry of Economy and its partners made a great job and children spent a night in family-hotels. “They will stay here for some period until the road to their houses is not repaired. After the works compete, they will return to their homes” – Davit Narmania said.
The heads of National Agency for State Property Management, as well as representatives of the Georgian Post and Tbilisi City Hall visited Tskneti together with Vice Prime Minister and Mayor of Tbilisi. They brought products, medicines, clothes and hygiene products to flood victims.
