The FINANCIAL — First Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani took part in the World Humanitarian Summit held in Istanbul, on 23 and 24 May, at the initiative of the UN Secretary-General, according to MFA of Georgia.
Within the framework of the Summit, Davit Zalkaliani held meetings with the head of the Guinean delegation, State Minister under the President’s Administration Nabi Yusuf Kiridi Bangoura and Head of the Honduran delegation, State Minister on Emergency Situations Alessandro Rosales. Discussions focused bilateral and multilateral co-operation, as well as on the humanitarian and security issues of importance to Georgia.
The sides emphasised the need to activate co-operation enabling Georgia to share its reform experience with other countries.
