The FINANCIAL — InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened the first Holiday Inn hotel in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, Holiday Inn Tabuk, located close to the city centre with convenient access to key transportation links.
The 90-room hotel close to the centre of Tabuk has well-connected transport links, with a number of international highways to Jordan, Egypt and Turkey a short drive from the hotel, and just 3km away from Tabuk airport, according to IHG.
Guests at Holiday Inn Tabuk can choose from a range of dining experiences including the hotel’s Al Walima restaurant offering a variety of oriental and western food, a coffee shop and the lobby lounge. Business travellers can make use of numerous function areas within the hotel including 350 square feet of banquet and meeting space, which can accommodate up to 300 people, and all of which are fully equipped with AV and Wi-Fi facilities.
Boasting an array of leisure facilities for guests to enjoy, the hotel houses an outdoor swimming pool, a recently renovated gym and fitness centre, sauna, tennis court, as well as providing table tennis and billiard activities.

2015 marks IHG’s 40th anniversary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The group currently has 25 hotels operating across three brands in Saudi Arabia, including: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn with a further eight properties in the development pipeline. Across Saudi Arabia there are 11 Holiday Inn properties open and an additional two properties are due to open within the next three to five years.
There are currently 1,200 Holiday Inn hotels open across the globe.
