The FINANCIAL — “Positive estimations of international financial institutions and credit rating companies are very important for Georgia,” – the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili stated at the press conference on December 12.
Focusing on several international ratings, Dimitry Kumishvili noted that in September 2017, the Moody’s upgraded the rating of Georgia from Ba3 to the stable Ba2. At the same time, Georgia improved its positions in the World Bank’s Doing Business rankings and moved towards the 9th place from the 17th.
As Dimitry Kumsishvili added, in order to enable the public and private sectors to attract the cheap resources, which ultimately leads to an increase in the number of jobs, it is important for Georgia to succeed in the prestigious international tournaments, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
