The FINANCIAL — Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Georgia amounted to USD 322.6 million in Q3 2018 (preliminary data) down 48.2 percent from the adjusted data of Q3 2017.
The main reasons for decreasing the FDI are completed pipeline project, transferring of ownership in some companies from non-resident to a resident units and reduction of liabilities to non-resident direct investors.
