The FINANCIAL — Through the support of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, PerMicroLab Onlus and Youth Business International (YBI) have announced the launch of Youth Business Italy.
YBI is a non-profit organisation, founded in the eighties in the UK by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales to promote youth entrepreneurship as effective response to the growing issue of unemployment. YBI is now operating in more than 40 countries around the world helping under-served young people between 18 and 35 years old, with high business potential and good business ideas. It provides them with training, mentoring, technical assistance and access to funding needed to start their own business, according to JPMorgan Chase & Co.
The Youth Business Italy program will be managed by PerMicroLab Onlus – a non-profit organization – and funded by the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, which is supporting several initiatives to support youth employment and entrepreneurship in Italy and in the rest of the world.
Youth Business Italy is based on a methodology already successfully tested by Youth Business, International in other countries in the world, by offering training, technical support, mentoring and access to credit to young entrepreneurs, according to JPMorgan Chase & Co.
