The FINANCIAL — Minister of Internally Displaced Persons From The Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, Sozar Subari together with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Romeo Mikautadze and the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze examined the gasification works for the IDP families in Tbilisi.
Gasification works are underway with the state financing. 200 000 GEL was allocated from the budget of the Ministry Internally Displaced Persons From The Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia for the purpose of gasification of 420 IDP families living in Tskneti highway, Tbilisi. The works are run by the KazTransGas Tbilisi, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
“It is important for families to have the opportunity to be engage in the gas distribution network and use natural gas, especially during the winter when the natural gas is used for heating. Today we are in Tbilisi, where upon the support of the Government, the gasification process of the IDP settlement has been accomplished and over 400 IDP families will be able to consume natural gas. During the recent years Georgian Government is actively involved in the gasification process throughout Georgia and this year over 30 million GEL will be spent by the State in this direction” – Romeo Mikautadze stated.
According to the CEO of the KazTransGas Tbilisi, Gigla Tamazashvili, IDP families living in Tskneti highway will be able to use natural gas starting from February of 2018.
