The FINANCIAL — GE Capital Aviation Services Limited, the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of two new Airbus A330s on lease to Aeroflot Russian Airlines following a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with the airline.
According to the General Electric Company, a third new Airbus A330 is scheduled for delivery in April. All three aircraft come from Aeroflot’s existing order book with Airbus.
Aeroflot operates a fleet of nearly 100 aircraft to more than 100 destinations. The new A330s leased from GECAS are part of the airline’s multi-year fleet renewal program.
