The FINANCIAL — GE Healthcare announced, during the Heart Rhythm Society’s (HRS) 33rd Annual Scientific Sessions, a continued commitment to electrophysiology (EP) by delivering new technologies for ablation guidance, dose reduction, and signal optimization.
According to the General Electric Company, GE Healthcare also announced the extension of their current co-distribution agreement with Biosense Webster with a three-year roadmap development collaboration that aims to deliver tighter integration between their CardioLab recording system and CARTO 3 navigation system.
GE Healthcare reinforces its commitment to low X-Ray dose imaging with the image quality and dose efficiency of the Innova platform. In addition to delivering high image quality and dose optimization with dedicated EP dose protocols and EPVision applications, GE Healthcare is collaborating with Biosense Webster, Inc. on a novel image integration solution1 pairing GE Healthcare’s real-time fluoroscopy with CARTO 3, 3D Electroanatomical Mapping & Ablation System.
“With a robust portfolio of EP systems as well as integration and project management expertise, GE Healthcare continues to solidify its ability to design, build and implement an end-to-end solution for the EP lab. Through our agreement with Biosense Webster, Inc., GE Healthcare continues to enhance the functional integration of their recording and imaging with 3D mapping systems. By further integrating our systems, we are working together to improve the workflow and help reduce dose during EP procedures,” said Jean-Michel Milles, General Manager of Interventional Electrophysiology, GE Healthcare, Detection & Guidance Solutions.
