The FINANCIAL — Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Genadi Arveladze delivered a speech at the conference V4 Countries and Georgia – Economic Cooperation Development Perspectives. The Conference was organized by the EU-Georgia Business Council.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Vice Prime Minister Mikheil Janelidze, EBRD Regional Director Bruno Balvanera and other officials also participated in the Conference, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Further prospects of development of the economic cooperation between Georgia and the Visegrad Group (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) was the main topic discussed at the Conference.
Gennadi Arveladze, in his speech, expressed gratefulness to the countries of the Visegrad Group for supporting Georgia in its European aspirations, including the support in the implementation of the commitments under the Association Agreement. Arveladze also reviewed the dynamic of economic relation development with the V4 countries including such aspects as bilateral trade, transport, energy, implemented investments and tourism.
