The FINANCIAL — Georgia’s Keda municipality has become the latest municipality to join the EU-supported ‘Mayors for Economic Growth’ (M4EG) initiative.
Since January 2017, the initiative has been supporting mayors and municipalities to be more active facilitators for economic growth and job creation at local level.
By joining the initiative, Keda Municipality will have access to new opportunities to expand its investment portfolio and receive additional support from donors.
The initiative also represents another positive example of cooperation between the municipality and the Keda Local Action Group (LAG), which was established within the EU-funded European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD).
