1. Kote Sulamanidze, 33, Progress Bank
Sulamanidze has extensive banking experience gained while working in a variety of management positions for several Georgian banks. Before being promoted to the position of CEO, he served as Chief Operations Officer and was a member of the initial team of the pre-opening office. Prior to Progress Bank, Sulamanidze spent three years at Bank Republic Societe Generale, where he started as Head of the Credit Administration Department before becoming Deputy Crediting Director, Crediting Director and then Head of Corporate Banking and Manager of Strategic Projects. Before joining Bank Republic, he served as Head of Service Centre and as Head of several Credit Units for United Georgian Bank for three years.
2. Ruslan Khoroshvili, 34, EY, Georgia.
Khoroshvili joined EY in 2003. He worked in EY offices across CIS countries and is currently based in the Tbilisi office.
Khoroshvili graduated from the European School of Management – Tbilisi in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
He is an active CPA licensed to practice in New Hampshire, USA, and certified auditor by the Audit and Accounting Council at the Parliament of Georgia.
He has more than twelve years of experience in auditing. Throughout this period he was in charge of the audits of EY’s most important clients throughout the CIS area.
From 2013 Khoroshvili was elected Chairman of the Audit Supervision Committee of the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors.
Aside from EY, Khoroshvili has worked as general director of a leading electricity distribution company in Georgia. He was also elected co-chairman of a management board of the Georgian Wholesale Electricity Market.
3. Irakli Gilauri, 38, Bank of Georgia.
Gilauri has served as CEO of Bank of Georgia since May 2006, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer since September 2004. Before his employment at Bank of Georgia, Gilauri was a banker at EBRD’s Tbilisi and London offices for five years, where he worked on transactions involving debt and private equity investments in Georgian companies.
Gilauri received his undergraduate degree in Business Studies, Economics and Finance from the University of Limerick. He was later awarded the Chevening Scholarship, granted by the British Council, to study at the Cass Business School of City University, where he obtained his Master of Science Degree in Banking and International Finance.
4. George Arveladze, 32, Liberty Bank
Arveladze has been Chief Executive Officer at Liberty Bank since July 2013. From 2009 he served as the Deputy CEO of Liberty Bank. Arveladze was an intern at BNP Paribas. He was also a chief dealer at National Bank of Georgia for 6 years.
Arveladze is a graduate of London Business School. In addition, he has a BBA degree from Midwestern State University.
5. Nickolai Tchiaureli, 37, Caucasus Online
A graduate of University of Cologne (Köln), Germany, Tchiaureli has served at Caucasus Online since 2013. He has more than nine years of work experience in the telecommunication sector. During 2012-2013 Tchiaureli was the CEO of Silknet LLC, a company where he previously served as Head of the Corporate Department for two years. After graduating he worked in Germany for four years. He served as a Station Manager at AIRZENA Georgian Airlines in Frankfurt, Germany, before which he was a General Representative (Western Europe), at TbilComBank, Rep-Office Frankfurt, Germany.
6. Shota Khobelia, 39, JSC Teliani Valley
Khobelia’s career at Teliani Valley JSC started in 2008 when he was employed as the Deputy General Director for Commerce. In November 2009 he was promoted and appointed to the position of CEO. Prior to joining Teliani Valley, Khobelia served at m|group, the leading HoReCa Management Company in Georgia, as Commercial Director. Just before, Khobelia was hired by Georgian Wines and Spirits, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard, as Commercial Director. He worked as Sales and Marketing Manager at Arthur M Erhlinch Wines and Spirits liquor store chain based in New York, USA.
Khobelia obtained his MBA with concentration in Food and Beverage Business Sales and Marketing from Bordeaux Business School in France.
7. Irakli Burdiladze, 39, m2 Real Estate
Burdiladze previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Bank of Georgia from March 2007 to June 2010. Prior to this appointment, Burdiladze worked as the Chief Financial Officer of Bank of Georgia. Immediately prior to joining Bank of Georgia Burdiladze served as the Chief Financial Officer of GMT Group, a leading real estate developer and operator in Georgia.
Burdiladze received a graduate degree in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C.
8. David Kenchadze, 30, TBC Pay
Kenchadze is in charge of Business Training at Private Trainer.
Kenchadze is a Business Coach and Consultant in sales, personal development, leadership and strategic management. He started his career as an intern at TBC Bank and after two years was appointed Marketing Manager. After six years he became CEO at TBC Trade. From 2007 till 2009 he acted as Head of the Sales Network Development Department at TBC Bank. Kenchadze also served as First Deputy CEO at Elit Electronics.
Kenchadze is a graduate of Tbilisi State University. He has passed more than 10 training programmes.
9. Nutsa Abramishvili, 32, MPA
CEO and partner of “Schuchmann Wines Georgia” Ltd since 2012, Abramishvili has seven years of work experience in city governance. She was Head of the Strategic Development and Socio-Economic Department of Tbilisi Municipality, where she managed local SME development, city strategic and touristic projects. She has international consultancy experience in the tourism and agriculture sectors. She worked at DELOITTE as Tourism Sector Manager.
Abramishvili holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Linguistics. She holds a Master’s degree in Public and Business Administration. She also successfully completed a Leadership Program at Harvard University and Financial Administration at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
