The FINANCIAL — The EU4Business initiative held an information event for Georgian businesses on 18 May in Tbilisi.
About 80 small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups learned about the opportunities offered by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). The event showcased assistance in technology transfer processes and European programmes for finance, research, development and innovation, according to EU Neighbours East Info.
“The Government of Georgia expresses its appreciation to the European Union for the extensive support in the process of developing Government’s Four Point Reform Agenda through the various instruments and resources. The Enterprise Europe Network is an important instrument that attracts international business partners,” said Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Giorgi Cherkezishili.
“I hope that Georgian SMEs, startups, mid-caps, as well as large companies will take advantage of the opportunities offered by EEN, Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency and Enterprise Georgia.”
