The FINANCIAL — During this month, young people in the Racha region of Georgia have been taking part in a number of youth trainings, organised by the Regions Development Fund in Georgia and conducted under the umbrella of the EU-funded project ‘Civil Society. Dialogue for Progress’.
The aim of the training is to encourage young people actively and effectively to participate in local self-government activities to improve youth policy at local level as well as empowerment of local young people and their organisations, according to EU Neighbourhood Info.
The project has already conducted trainings on advocacy and lobbying and trainings on effective communication and management. The next training will be devoted to participation of CSOs in policy dialogue, monitoring of policy processes and developing effective PR strategies.
‘Civil Society. Dialogue for Progress’ aims at supporting civil society organisations in the Eastern Partnership to become stronger players in policy dialogue with their respective national and local authorities, empowering CSOs and strengthening their capacities.
