The FINANCIAL — A two-day regional conference in Georgia has provided a platform for an exchange of experience on the issue of circular labour migration management and reintegration support. The event was organised by an EU-funded project on ‘Strengthening the Development Potential of the EU Mobility Partnership in Georgia through Targeted Circular Migration and Diaspora Mobilization’.
The main aim of the project is to develop and implement a pilot circular migration scheme between Germany and Georgia, according to EU Neighbourhood Info.
The conference saw Georgian, Armenian and Moldovan public, private, international and non-governmental stakeholders discuss preliminary results with regard to the approach and support provided throughout the major phases of the migration cycle.
