The FINANCIAL — On 1 November 2016, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Georgia Abas Talebi Far.
The sides discussed a broad spectrum of issues on the agenda of bilateral relations between Georgia and Iran, as well as prospects for the further development of co-operation, including the ongoing processes in the region. The sides emphasized the importance of exchanging high- and high-level visits reaffirming the readiness to further develop bilateral co-operation between the two countries.
Abas Talebi Far congratulated the Georgian people on the successfully conducted parliamentary elections and wished the Georgian government success in the implementation of its plans, according to MFA of Georgia.
