The FINANCIAL — On 27 November 2017, Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Georgia Kim Chang-gyu.
Discussions focused on important issues on the agenda of bilateral relations between Georgia and Korea. The sides underlined the importance of the exchange of high-level visits that will bring the fruitful and friendly relations between the two countries to a qualitatively higher level. Expressing the readiness to promote the Korean companies’ activities in Georgia and their participation in Georgia’s large-scale infrastructure projects, the sides paid special attention to the need to further deepen trade-economic relations between Georgia and Korea. The sides noted with satisfaction the growing flow of Korean tourists to Georgia that will contribute to the strengthening of people-to-people contacts and raise mutual awareness of the cultures of the two countries.
The Deputy Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude for many years of support by the Korean Government and the Korea International Cooperation Agency – KOICA aimed at promoting the economic development process in Georgia and reaffirmed his commitment to an even greater level of co-operation in this direction, according to MFA of Georgia.
