The FINANCIAL — On 9 November 2015, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze held a bilateral meeting with First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Nataliia Galibarenko, who arrived in Georgia to attend the International High-Level Conference: Achieving Gender Equality – Challenges and Opportunities in the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) Region.
Gigi Gigiadze reaffirmed Georgia’s firm and unequivocal support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. Talking points also included regional threats and challenges, as well as the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia and Ukraine, according to MFA of Georgia.
The Deputy Foreign Ministers discussed prospects for the further strengthening of co-operation between Georgia and Ukraine on the issues relating to European integration. Special attention was paid to the process of integration with the European Union. The main task before Georgia and Ukraine is to deepen to its maximum extent the existing co-operation with Georgia and Ukraine.
