The FINANCIAL — International exhibition – China International Import Expo – will be held in Shanghai, China on 5-10 November, this year. Georgia is invited to participate in the exhibition with a special status.
Exhibition space will be spread over 1.5 million square meter uniting 5 locations for exhibiting services and 6 locations for the goods. Georgian exporters will have an opportunity to introduce their products and services to interested people in China, according to Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
The First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili and the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Genadi Arveladze provided the Georgian exporters with the detailed information about the exhibition.
All the 6 exhibition locations for introduction of goods include halls for exhibiting high performance intellectual equipment, consumer electronics and equipment, auto-cars, clothing, accessories and consumer goods, agricultural products, medical supplies and products for medical cervices. In 5 exhibition locations for introduction of cervices provide the opportunity to exhibit tourism services, developing technologies, culture and education, creative design and service outsourcing. The deadline for booking the space at the China International Import Expo is June 30, 2018.
The official hosts of the exhibition are the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and People’s Government of the Shanghai City Municipality. The exhibition is supported by the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
