The FINANCIAL — Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia Lukas Beglinger and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Russia.
The sides discussed important aspects of bilateral relations, issues relating to the Swiss Confederation’s role as a mediator between Georgia and Russia.
David Zalkaliani provided the Swiss diplomats with detailed information on Georgia’s foreign policy priorities ad the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories and in the region as a whole.
Special attention was paid to the death of Archil Tatunashvili as a result of the occupation regimes’ criminal activities, according to MFA of Georgia.
David Zalkaliani thanked the Swiss side for its supportive statements as regards the recent tragic developments.
