The FINANCIAL — Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a meeting with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Ahmad Hassan Al-Hamadi.
The sides discussed prospects for the development of relations between Georgia and Qatar paying special attention to the importance of further deepening trade-economic relations. The need to maintain and further strengthen bilateral relations was also highlighted, according to MFA of Georgia.
Ahmad Hassan Al-Hamadi provided the Georgian side with detailed information on the situation in the Gulf region, in Qatar, in particular. The importance of maintining stability in Qatar, and in the Gulf countries in general was also highlighted.
Within the framework of the visit, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar will hold meetings with representatives of the Government of Georgia.
