The FINANCIAL — Eka Tkeshelashvili, the Georgia’s foreign minister arrived in Istanbul on Saturday, where she will meet with her Turkish counterpart, Ali Babacan, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
According to Civil Georgia, the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a brief statement on August 26 saying Georgia’s territorial integrity was important for Ankara.
After trip to Turkey, Tkeshelashvili will leave for Brussels, where EU leaders are expected to discuss Georgia crisis on September 1.
